Iraqi Cabinet: Dealing with Israel Prohibited

Iraqi Council of Ministers addressed all governmental establishments to not sign any contracts with foreign companies dealing with Israel.

The decision is to be executed immediately for all current and future Iraqi governmental contracts, making the foreign companies sign a commitment.

As the Iraqi Council of Ministers announced in a statement, any violation for this commitment by the foreign contractors makes them face legal and financial penalties, considering this as a main term in the contracts.

This will be considered as the first time that the Iraqi government publicly announce boycott Israel after Saddam regime fall in 2003.
